     info

I have been an actress for over 25 years and have worked on Stage, TV and Film.  I have a good knowledge of how the industry works and what it is like to be a modern day actor.

Some of the Theatre companies that I have been employed by are Theatre Centre, London Bubble, Sherman Theatre and Shared Experience.

My TV credits include In my Skin, Rellik, Holby City, The Bench, Gwaith Cartref, Being Human and Stella.

I am still a jobbing actress and like to keep myself creative when I'm not acting...hence working with you!

If you want to have a fuller look at my acting experience then feel free to check out my CV.

"Anita Reynolds played the line between ridiculous colonial-panto-dame and deeply sympathetic mother flawlessly. The scene in which she begs the twins to join the family for Christmas is truly heart-breaking. Reynolds masterfully strips away the bombast to reveal a very lonely, desperate and frightened woman hidden beneath."

Teaching

Over the last 15 years I have taught at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama which has given me the opportunity to work with children, young people and adults.  My teaching practice spans over a variety of theatrical forms i.e text and character work, devising, directing and improvisation.

I like teaching and I like working with people to develop their acting potential.  I aim to make sure you achieve a strong chance at audition and we will work to build a good skill set that will not let you down.

Audition

Panelist

The experience gained over the last 15 years, of being on the RWCMD audition panel has helped me develop a keen eye on what makes a good auditionee.  There are many components that can make the auditioning process an 'enjoyable one' (if we can ever call auditioning 'enjoyable') and though it is not an exact science, I can mentor you towards establishing your personal acting tool kit .

Whatever happens... you will learn.

"Particularly mentionable is Reynolds’ performance as the White Witch – she is sassy and commanding, wearing a white, glittering jump-suit similar to that made famous by Elvis – and her costume, makeup and characterisation is fresh, clever and brilliantly executed."
