Last September, I applied for as many drama schools as I could afford and knew that I needed the extra help on my acting. Contacting Anita was the best decision I ever made for my preparation for auditions as I know that I wouldn’t be attending Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts this September without her continuous support and help.
Anita always made sure that I felt comfortable in my own skin whether that was in the location of the lesson to the text I’d be reading. I have seen the development within my confidence since having one on one lessons with Anita and have seen the massive difference this has made in my auditions. It never mattered to her how stupid I looked or sounded whilst performing - she wanted to get the best out of me.
I cannot recommend this incredibly talented woman enough as she has changed my mind-set of acting and character building forever.
Anita, thank you.

I am in my final year of sixth form college and was recommended to Anita by my acting agent, shortly before auditioning for 5 top drama colleges. Anita is a pleasure to work with. Her experience and skill as a teacher have helped me immensely. She not only helped to guide me in choosing suitable audition monologues, but also taught me how to experiment to find myself within them.
Thanks to Anita, I received recalls to 2 prestigious drama schools and have been accepted into The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain in the 18-25 category.
If you are looking for help to bring your monologues to life, I would highly recommend Anita to you!

I first met Anita Reynolds at the age of 15 and from day one she supported and encouraged the development of me as an Actor. Anita’s teaching is effortlessly inspirational. Anita has taught me privately and within a classroom both of which you can trust ‘what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.’
She is professional whilst still maintaining her out going, loveable personality. I aspire to be as open and passionate like Anita each and every day and without her help and guidance I wouldn’t be preparing for my second year at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama studying Acting. A fun, creative and fiery woman, Anita has taught me to find the courage within myself to fulfil my goals as an Actor and get to where I want to be. A remarkable teacher, actress and personality, Anita Reynolds really does have it all.

My time at Royal Welsh College was most definitely the most exciting and rewarding year of my life so far. This was due in part to my time spent with Anita in her improvisation workshops. I left this part of the course feeling like a fully rounded and realised person.
Her way of working causes you to come to sometimes difficult realizations about oneself in a situation that is safe and supportive. No class is the same and every lesson seems vital when entering into a world where self confidence and self awareness is vital. I left Anita's classes with not only many vital experiences , but with what I hope to be a life long friend.

Working with Anita definitely changed my life. We first started working together to get me into drama school, we worked really hard but we also had a lot of fun too.
I always dreamed of going to Royal Welsh College to study acting and Anita made that dream possible.
Since leaving college, I have played the lead in a short called Burger by Magnus Mork which won a special Jury award for Direction and Acting at the Sundance Film Festival 2014. Due to the success of the film, I have signed with an American Manager and have recently returned from pilot season in LA.
I could not recommend Anita's work enough. I still hear her voice when tackling auditions and this is 3 years after graduating college.
I must also point out Anita is a fantastic actress in her own right.
If you’re thinking of using Anita. I would stop thinking and get started.

Anita's help working on monologues and scripts has been absolutely instrumental to my success at auditions. She helped me find the truth in a speech and look at what I was actually trying to say. The way that she works is thought provoking, personal and incredibly real. I would reccomend her to anyone

I would be lost without Anita she has completely changed me as a performer and made me realise my potential. From the very first session she has made me feel completely at ease and brings with her such energy and positivity that when you finish the session you feel happy and ready for anything.
She has changed me from the shy, quiet performer to someone that is full of confidence. Now I feel ready to take risks and push myself further which I couldn’t have done without her.
Anita brings a wealth of knowledge with her to the sessions and knows what works well in auditions allowing you to be well prepared. Her tutoring this year was the key to my acceptance onto the Young Actors Studio course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Young Artists Festival at The Other Room.

I can't recommend working with Anita highly enough. I have been auditioning for drama schools for the previous 4 years with mixed results, my best attempts were a couple of recalls.
This year I was referred to Anita for help with my audition preparation and she has played a vital part in the upturn in my fortunes. She was warm and friendly from the moment I met her. Her passion for acting and teaching not only makes the hour you spend with her worthwhile but thoroughly enjoyable. You will get your monies worth and then some!
Together we were able to break down what didn't work for me in previous auditions and she was able to help me realise how I could show the best version of myself each time I stepped into the audition room. She helped me break down my speeches in a way that inspired me to deliver truthful moments throughout my monologues. With Anita's guidance I have felt free to take risks and play with my speeches throughout rehearsal and most importantly in my auditions. Working with Anita has pushed me as an Actor and allowed me to develop my skills in a free and safe environment.
Since working with her I've applied to 6 schools, received 2 offers of places, 2 further recalls with one more recall to come. I can say hand on heart , I've been pleased with what I delivered in every one of those auditions regardless of the outcome and Anita has played a massive part in that!
I'd encourage anyone to work with Anita, she is a great talent, person and someone I hope to work with and stay in touch with for a long time to come!
Working with Anita Reynolds on audition monologues has been such a journey. A brilliant journey at that! I think what makes her tuition so special, is that it is a partnership in which discovering a character and a speech becomes an exciting experience.
Through exercises and direction, Anita encourages you to act in a comfortable and safe atmosphere and therefore you feel able to really explore yourself and the character. I didn’t care if I felt embarrassed because often it meant we were learning more about how I wanted to perform the speech, and I always came away feeling proud and ready to perform to others.
Anita is not only a supportive and friendly woman, but she is also an inspiring one and has been there for me whenever I needed her. I could not have asked for a better tutor during such a difficult process and would recommend her tuition to anyone!

Anita Reynolds was highly recommended by a friend who had graduated from the college, saying that her help and expertise helped him gain a place on the course. With such high praise I contacted Anita and was instantly put at ease by her friendly and immediate correspondence.
Upon our first meeting we discussed my acting history and personal goals, as well as the audition process I recently attended. Without hesitation she asked me to perform my selected pieces as she took notes and then we talked about each monologue in depth. In those minutes following I learnt and understood more about acting than a whole year spend preparing on my own. The importance of communication, finding the truth in every moment of your character but in such a way that was so entwined into my own interpretation. It was as if I was 'acting' before, and now finally telling a story beneath the very skin of the character.
My skills were broken apart and slowly over the next sessions we worked as a team to build it back up in the most effective and innovative way. Since then working on my audition pieces has been exciting, fresh and different each time but always within the realm of the given circumstances. I truly believe Anita was helped fine tune and tailor my skills to my strengths, which not only will give me the advantage at my next audition but in all my future endeavours as an actor.
